DRDO's anti-coronary drug 2-DG launch, this drug will reduce the need for oxygen

 It is claimed that the 2-DG drug Corona will reduce the need for oxygen for patients. The emergency use of the 2-deoxy-D-glucose (2-DG) drug on moderate and severe patients of Corona was approved by the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI). Now, coronavaccine registration is also available for 18+ years old.


 With the second wave of Corona, a new drug of Corona has been launched in the country amid a shortage of drugs like Oxygen and Remedisvir. The first batch of DRDO's anti-corona drug 2-DG was launched on Monday. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan released it. It is claimed that the 2-DG drug Corona will reduce the need for oxygen for patients. The emergency use of the 2-deoxy-D-glucose (2-DG) drug on moderate and severe patients of Corona was approved by the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI).

Rajnath Singh said that this drug has brought a ray of hope for the treatment of Kovid-19 patients. This drug will be available in the sac and corona patients will be able to easily take it by dissolving it in water. Talking about ensuring the availability of cryogenic tankers for transportation, the government has taken the entire situation very seriously.

Physicians who have retired from the armed forces have been deployed at the front to strengthen the health infrastructure. The Ministry of Defense said on 8 May that clinical trials of 2-deoxy-D-glucose (2-DG) showed that it helps reduce oxygen dependence of hospitalized patients. Also, patients recover faster with this medicine.

Patients are recovering from two to two and a half days earlier than normal duration using this medicine. The dependence on the oxygen of Kovid patients will be reduced by 40 percent. Being available in powder form will also harm the people. They will be able to drink it easily by dissolving it in water.
