CBSE: 12th result will be based on last 3 exams, the board said

Because of the increasing infection of Corona, the candidates had approached the Supreme Court regarding the examinations being held from July 1 to July 15. In the hearing held on Thursday in the Supreme Court, the CBSE and the ICSE Board have cancelled their remaining examinations and these students were also waiting Sarkari Results. Both the boards gave this information during the hearing in the Supreme Court on Thursday. After this, the court has asked the Center and CBSE to issue a new notification regarding the 12th class examination. The matter will be heard again tomorrow. Know what happened in the court? What did the board argue?

During the hearing, the Supreme Court asked the CBSE and the Center to clarify the choice between internal assessment and examination in the new notification. Also, state the current status of the State Board Examination, the date of examinations.

The court has asked for new notification and affidavit from CBSE till tomorrow morning i.e. 26 June. In this, the board will have to tell what those three last exams will be, and how the result will be prepared from it.

During the hearing on the CBSE board examinations, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, who is arguing on behalf of the Center, said that the examinations to be held from July 1 to 15 have been cancelled. Maharashtra, Delhi and Odisha have expressed inability to conduct examinations by filing affidavits. Now the examinations will take place when the atmosphere is favorable.

According to Sarkari Result Info, After hearing this argument, the Supreme Court asked whether there was no coordination between the government and the board? On this, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta said that the government and the board are running in sync. New notification for cancellation of the examination program will be issued by tomorrow i.e. Friday.

Please tell that due to corona and lockdown, CBSE postponed the remaining examinations of twelfth. Later, after the order of the government, the board had decided to conduct written examinations of 29 main subjects. For this, the board had also released a program to conduct these examinations from July 1 to 15.

But as the number of corona infection cases in the country is not decreasing, anxious candidates filed a petition in the Supreme Court against this decision of CBSE. The petition demanded that the CBSE board also cancel these examinations and declare the result based on internal assessment.

When this issue went to the Supreme Court, the board and the central government said that we have cancelled the examinations. The CBSE had asked the Supreme Court till Thursday 25 June to give its final decision.

Now the CBSE has stated in the court that the board has cancelled the complete exams for the students of class 10th, but the students of class 12th can alternatively appear for the CBSE board examination. Last month Sarkari Results Info has announced the exam date of 10th and 12th class students.

Solicitor General Tushar Mehta also argued in the court that even though Kovid isolation centres are running in schools, there is rain in the northeast and the students there are not ready for examination, so it will be difficult to conduct examinations.

Let us know that this year CBSE had to attend more than 31 lakh students in the remaining examinations across the country. While CBSE has cancelled the remaining exam, on the other hand, it will have an impact on the admission process of all central universities as well as the national entrance examination including JEE Main and NEET 2020.
