Canara Bank SO Recruitment for Specialist Officer

As per the Sarkari Result official notification of Canara Bank, "Based on the number of vacancies, the Bank reserves the right to shortlist the required number of candidates and only those shortlisted candidates will be called for group discussion / or interview.

Canara Bank has issued a recruitment notification for 220 vacant posts of Specialist Officer. The application window is on canarabank.com from 25 November to 15 December. No date has been announced for the online recruitment examination. It is expected to be held in January or February.

Canara Bank SO recruitment 2020: Eligibility Criteria

 - Graduate-level degree from a recognized institute or university.

- Working knowledge of computer Hindi language communication

 Selection process

 The candidates have to appear for the online recruitment test, and then for group discussion and job interview.

Age range

To apply for this government job, the candidates should be at least 20 years old. The upper age limit is different for different posts and age relaxation will be given as per government norms.

For JMGS-I level posts: 20 year upper limit

For MMGHS-II posts: 22-35 years of age group

For MMGS-III posts: 25-38 years age group

Age will be calculated by October 1, 2020.

There will be 150 questions of 200 marks to be solved in two hours in the online recruitment examination for this government job. For each wrong answer, one-fourth of the marks or 0.25 marks will be deducted for each question. The minimum cut-off marks and total score for each subject will be decided by Canara Bank.
